I got in the loop as a "go to guy" in late December. My friend Barry (Big Blue) referred me to them.
As it turns out they recognized my name from many TAXI forwards and had attempted to contact me thru emails I never received. As the A&R guy said "Better late than never"

Sounds like your day job is like mine - grabbing too much time away from writing music unless you just drop the sleep part of the day.
