They did kinda get ganked by all the sample producers scurrying off to write proprietary software formats in order to prevent massive piracy-which IMO never really materialized to any great extent.

Man, I got "Skunked!" I thought when Tascam went whole-hog to Giga, they had the world by the nuts.What happened? Did the other sample producers/mediums "skunk" them, in cribbage terms? I've got SO many Giga libraries, but I'm not too concerned at this point until I know what's going on ---- can ya fill me in?Thanx,Ern

Tascam is dropping support and development of all things Giga.PS: "Ganked" is the more modern term for what used to be called "shanked" as in 'with a shiv'.
