Any one get forwarded on this?

Post by markjsmith » Tue Sep 01, 2009 4:41 pm

No posts in the forwards section yet. I got returned. I'm just curious what made the cut!ALTERNATIVE/MODERN ROCK INSTRUMENTALS - OF ALL STYLES - ranging from Indie Rock to Garage Rock to Alt Pop/Rock, etc., are being sought by a Production Company/Music Library (with clients such as the Discovery Channel and MTV and film credits such as American Gangster and Bourne Ultimatium) for inclusion on their roster to pitch for Film and TV song placements.

OK, this makes me feel better, guys. I'm in good company. Indeed, really wanna know what they were looking for here. Must be very high bar on this, and possibly a bit of subjectivity from the reviewers. Having said that, someone will post a blinding song here now to show what's missing

Me too... 0 for 3. I too would like to hear what made it through. The good thing on this listing was the included critiques. I got a lot out of that as the screener pointed to things I had overlooked. I got high marks but not high enough. So now I'll work the bugs.Keith

I'd like to know how high the bar is set.

my "Airtime" instrumental didn't make it. but I got some very good feedback from the reviewer and now I have an idea of what to produce. also I think I figured out my niche.
