Anybody else forwarded for "“What The Bleep"??
My song "Don't Be Afraid" was forwarded, just curious as to what other songs were forwarded. I think this is considered a high bar listing, correct? Listing # D080514SSEnded a long dry spell for me, so I was glad to see it.

Yup, this was the forward I got that I posted about, for my song Compliments In Lavender. I have no idea where the "bar" was for this.

Cool.................here is the link to "Don't Be Afraid" if you are curious. It's really just an experiment...i wanted to write something in 6/8, but this is bare bones.http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... am=trueI'm actually adding backup vocals and some piano to it in a week or so. I can't stand my vocal on it, but whateverI was saying that the music supervisor supposedly selected songs, so I think that is considered high bar listing.

Hey mcantyI couldn't stream this. So I went to www.taxi.com/mcanty but couldn't find 'Don't Be Afraid'. Help.I have a good idea where the bar is for this because it hit me in the forehead. My song Let It Go was rejected Amongst other things, I think lyrically I may have missed the 'change' boat. Still learning to read listings in detail after all this time Liam

Actually, I hate my own song LOL.....................I like the flow of it, but I rushed the tempo and my lead vocal is a little wavy...........but the worst is that note in the break that is completely out of tune.I must have been drunk when I was listening...........

Re: Anybody else forwarded for "“What The Bleep"??
By the way, I actually had an e-mail conversation with the music supervisor for this project. I needed to let him know that I had alternate mixes available if necessary. Very nice man. It was interesting to me to have it explained how his process works. Basically they have tons of footage and they will narrow that down while listening to element music and try to tie everything together. There will also be several 30 minute shows cut for broadcast. Sounds like a long term project so if you were forwarded I would just be patient, forget it and move on and maybe be surprised one day. Anyway, just thought you might be interested to know a little about their process. I am clueless when it comes to filmmaking. It does sound like there is a TON of material so maybe a decent chance that your song will fit in somewhere along the way..MC
