Hey funsongs...

I recorded what I had before, just to give you an idea of where I was going with the song.

This is me and my little pre-teen daughter. She doesn't really know the song and is just shadowing me. I just played my sloppy guitar into her IPhone and we sang together.

It's really hack, but it should give you a vision I had for this tune. I actually think it's a country song.

Hey - Patrick
First - Don't Stand In My Way was, indeed a co-write - I put together the instrument & vocal track, mostly myself - hired a few players to add the ear-candy;
and the studio engineer who let me record & direct the mix. The author of the lyrics & melody came by way of hearing the raw demo on Soundcloud.
I contacted the lady and asked if I could produce the track. What you hear is the results of that collaboration.

I've been in the thick of finishing up several projects of my own, and didn't see when I'd have the opportunity to try to help you out.
I don't have my own home-studio recording set up - so song production for me at this point is an out-of-pocket expense.
