Anybody have a link for the hotel?

Post by shanegrla » Fri Aug 24, 2012 9:56 am

One that goes to the hotel's Rally page so we know we're getting our discount when we book? (At least I presume there's a bit of a discount like there was last year, right?)

After I registered for the Rally it automatically brought me to a page for the hotel so we could book right then and there, but I wasn't ready yet. But now that I am ready I'm looking for a way to get back to it and I can't find it. I've looked all over the forum.

Thanks.

I found it easiest just to call the hotel and make the reservation on the phone. Ask for the Taxi Road Rally rate when you call. I did this yesterday and got a great rate of $123.

Shane

Thanks for posting that up - I was wondering how to find the link.

I've booked today, and can't wait!

Cheers

Hey Guys and Girls,

Question: When does the Rally actually start (Thursday? Friday?)? When does it end? When does the majority of activity occur? Just wondering. I'm pretty sure I can afford to stay for two night in a hotel (are you guys staying in the actual hotel that Rally is taking place or are you staying somewhere nearby?)

Ok. I think that's all my questions. I'm really looking forward to this year's event!

You definitely wanna get there Thursday, because although the classes etc. don't start till Friday, you need to get there to sign up for everything and try to get your best picks for certain things (one-on-one mentors, etc.). It ends on Sunday late afternoon I think. So really you should plan for at least three nights. That's if you're flying back out Sunday night on a red-eye or something (which is what I'm doing). Some people stay the extra night Sunday and fly out on Monday so they don't have to deal with that.

And staying at the hotel is definitely the way to go. So much more convenient just being right there and not having to worry about a commute.

So, which hotel is it?
The Westin Los Angeles Airport?

Is that the location?

Sorry for sort of dumb questions. Is it always in the same places? I went two or three years ago.

Yes, that should be it. Click the link I posted above and that should take you right to it.
