Are you bringing your instrument?

Post by DorothyWallace » Sat Jul 10, 2010 6:48 am

I'm wondering if I should bring my guitar. Is there any time for a jam session?

There are jam sessions all over the place, 24 hours a day, everywhere througout the hotel. It's quite an energized atmosphere... So, if it's not a major pain to bring your guitar (e.g. taking it on flights, etc) I say bring it. I'd love to meet you and jam!

I've been bringing mine every year. Checking it as baggage makes me a little nervous but so far it's worked out.

Looking forward to meeting you! 8-)

:) Casey

My instrument is a 6' grand piano - I think I may leave it home. But if I only take one carry on..... :D

Looking forward to meeting everyone. This will be my first Rally.

Hey - I just posted under gear. If anyone has any tips about flying with my acoustic/electric for an audition, please post a reply there. Sounds like a good plan to bring my guitar to the Road Rally - fortunately I am in the LA area.

I am going to buy a new keyboard and bring it with me. Not a full, but enough to have some fun with!

Yes, bring your guitar! If you have a room at the Westin, you don't always have to carry it around and you can get it anytime the mood or opportunity strikes.
oh.. and Desiree... YES there is a piano, at least there was last year. It was at the end of the hall near the main Ballroom. There was a Digital piano for open mic as I recall. See you there!
