Hi All,

I am very new to the board but wanted to introduce myself to you (first post in General Hangout) and share another TAXI Success Story... okay, make that TWO stories:

Well, after three years of hard work, patience, and many forwards / returns, I just got my first two composing gigs through TAXI! :-) One writing World instrumentals for Muzak-type applications (stores, malls, restaurants, etc) and the other writing several cues for the recent "Urgent Entertainment News" listing.

Here are some Entertainment News Cues (at http://www.taxi.com/keithzizza):

Headliners
Rule The Runway
Spotlight
This Just In

And a few World instrumentals:

Lost in The Bazaar
Malai Kofta
Spirits of the Desert Moon
Urvashi's Spell

...Hope you like 'em. Needless to say I am so grateful for these opportunities, thank you TAXI!!!

And nice to meet you all -- hope to chat soon.

Hi Keith, congrats on your deals! I had to check out Malai Kofta since I do enjoy that dish  Cool piece! Liked the vibe of Lost In The Bazaar, too.

Thanks Guys!

Yes I also discovered Malai Kofta a few years back, LOVE it. Thought, "what the heck, I'll write a track for it!"

Awesome, Keith! :D :D

If you haven't already, drop Taxi an email about your successes. There is a link on their website for reporting deals.

Best of luck! Many happy royalties!

:) Casey

Absolutely, the other day I let TAXI know about the deals via the "Got A Deal?" link (it feels GREAT to click on that!!!!)

The inspiration for "Breaking and Entering" was a *cough* certain someone fumbling for the house key one night, and dropping it in between the planks of the porch floor... and what ensued. I won't get into the specifics after that, other than I left the slapstick sound effects out of the track! Key has since been recovered. :P
