Would you feel betrayed?
2nd question - WTF?? Betrayed would not be the word I would choose. I'm not so sure that I'd immediately assume that the exclusive library gave your music to the other sources. In fact, that would be the last thing I assumed. But I would definately contact the other two places and get to the bottom of where they got your music.

Evocative Music For Media
imagine if John Williams and Trent Reznor met at Bernard Hermann's for lunch and Brian Eno was the head chef!

How is any of this relevant to your specific situation? We could sit around all day writing thesis-length replies to every imaginable situation that you can come up with. These questions are like "What if you sign with a library but they turn out to be agents with the Russian mafia. Would you be scared?". Really... unless you DID just sign with a library that's really a front for the Russian mafia, any answer is irrelevant and the whole excercise is pointless (well... for the people answering at leastDesireInspires wrote:Good information, guys.
See if you can answer these questions:
Would it be a fair deal for a songwriter to give up half of his writer's share and all of his publisher's to get songs placed on a popular TV show on a major television network?
Say you have music with a music library that has registered your cues with your respective PRO. If the music library issued a direct license to a TV network that did not pay a sync fee or backend royalties, would you pursue legal action against the music library and/or the TV network?

Dear Dave, (as in Dear Abby)
I am following up with a library in the Czech Republic that I made contact with at the NAB Show that distributes it's library in the US thru a library in Nashville. Should I be concerned????
Chuck
BTW this is an actual potential opp.

Unbelievable. That's it. Officially done playing this game. My desire has permanently become uninspired.

I'm adding the Russian Mafia question to my list that I ask publishers - it's an excellent one; one I want to know about.
In fact, maybe I better ask some of my current ones that - I saw one of them at a bar one late night last early November (shh... don't ask what I was doing there...). I also witnessed a paper transfer, at the time; pretty worrisome.

I noticed that you have a picture of beer for your avatar. What is your favorite brand(s).
*Beer is so cool*
