Beatle listings... who got through??

Hey, who was successful with their Beatle cover listing? I was really happy with mine but it was returned. I was just interested to see what the successful ones sounded like.Ash

hey Ash, mine were returned as well. I notice in the "forwards" section that b.flat got a couple of forwards. I remember yours & I thought it was good . . . sorry 'bout the return. I didn't realise there was a 'forwards' section. ooops!! Your version of Rain sounds really good billg. Listening to the successful ones i guess where we went wrong was we stuck to the originals too much, but then i'm sure they didn't say in the listings about making it different to the original... I'm gutted because i only caught the listing a week before submission and if i had time i would have done a jazzy version of Lady Madonna... Ah well!

Hey Macca... little tip - even though the deadline has passed - you still have a few weeks to perfect the track as much as possible before it is screened

Hey. thanks for the tip!! How do i go about re submitting the song? I thought you couldn't go passed the deadline at all?

This isn't actually true, as far as I know. Sometimes, there might be a couple of days, after the dealine, before the screeners get around to listening to your song. I would guess a few hours is more likely. And that's only only an option if you've already submitted your music, to that particular listing, by the deadline.But perfecting tracks... that's the process all right. Find out what's not yet as good as it can be, about your song/recording, and fix it. Once the deadline of the listing is passed, there is NO way to know WHEN your submission(s) will be screened. So perfect them, and upload them, knowing you will have no idea which version the screener listened to & based their decision on.

Hey Ashley, Would love to hear your tune (if you don't mind)...I really enjoyed a lot of the Beatles songs that members shared.BillG....I really enjoy your voice (hope that doesn't sound TOO weird! haha)....very cool personality to it.
