I'm not sure most electronica listings will accept cover songs. But luckily, my son is very prolific and we're working on lots of tracks.

It's pretty far from the original arrangement so I wasn't sure it would work for the pitch. He has his dad's last name Wanag, traditional family though an avant garde song. How's Spain these days? I miss it.

On the other hand, my wife has been away for a couple of weeks working very hard. So I thought I’d get her a little something small when she gets back to remind her just how great she is. As it happens there’s a series of gigs celebrating women in music that’s running here from June to July. The artists are:Marianne FaithfullHaris AlexíouSinéad O´Connor Ani Choying Drolma Marie KeyrouzMayte MartínUte LemperSuzanne VegaWhich would you recommend? My gut goes with Marianne or Suzanne Vega (who we really used to dig back when). Although I think Sinead O’Connor (even though she has irritated me no end in the past) might be a helluva gig.Of course, there’s also Tom Waits in July. But that’s more a present from me to me Sorry!!! I’ve just totally hijacked your thread Didn't mean to Back to you and your son’s wonderful job on getting the Beatles listing nod! Well done again! Thanks LQRose, Bresky, Casey. I appreciate you listening and posting comments.Liam, I've never heard of the other artists. I'd pick Vega because I like her lyrics. Marianne Faithful has a lot of rock'n'roll soul and Sinead will probably be the most entertaining. Let me know how it goes. Thinking of a way to make your wife happy, you are really sweet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You get points in my book.

I keep reading posts on other threads wondering who got forwards, so I'm bumping mine. Yes, it's shameless self-promotion but hey, it's a collaboration with my teenager and I'm a proud mom!!! (Happy Father's Day to you forum Dads.)http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... tream=true
