Hey Bobby Joe, welcome to Taxi Land. I love your writing man, and really love your NashVegas War Stories thread, on the other forum. I noticed you took a few years offa posting here, and I'm glad you've decided to start again.steve

Thanks very much, everyone. I will post the full song in the appropriate section. I kinda hear Brooks & Dunn doing it, or maybe Montgomery Gentry.Hey, I don't see a section for full songs. Is there not one here somewhere?

I just found this great thread & lyric...nicely done BobbyJoe!It would be nice to hear it when it's done.Just one point, you have the concept of "hearts" in several places...would you consider saving the word "hearts" for just the chorus? It's a great concept that you could reserve for the most memorable part of the song.Just $0.02 from an interested audience that loves the rowdy stuff!

one tiny little suggestion, but feel free to ignore it: "bubba's blue donkey"...i know it's a bar, but it's still a little unclear. can you figure out a better bar name? the alliteration is nice, but..."donkey" is just such an ugly word, IMHO. it's so fat and heavy and blob-u-lous. (made that word up...kinda like it!) maybe you could say "bubba's blue cantina" or "bubba's blue oasis" or some other name...just a thought. i like the storyline!
