Best LUFS Meter

I'm trying to use Luna for all my mixing now, and I don't have my Logic loudness meter in there, so I'm going to have to buy one it looks like. Any favorites?

I have that [because it's free] but use Waves Loudness Meter Plus. It has a true peak limiter built in to catch any overs if you activate it.

The Multimeter also has the LUFS on the side, don't know how accurate is it of if Luna doesn't have that either...just throwing it out there.

Curious as to why using LUNA for mixing?

I'm trying to learn luna, because I bought the Neve summing and I want to put it to use. They didn't make it a regular plugin that will work in other daw's. I've tried using Luna for tracking and editing, and man. It's just too different from what I've done since 86, which is Logic. So I figure I'll do all the front end work in Logic, and then export processed tracks to Luna for mastering. Not mixing so much I guess, since I'm printing the tracks with plugins engaged. So mainly I'm just running tape, summing, and all the 2-bus stuff in Luna.

Another recommendation for Waves WLM plus. It always works very well for me for several years now.

I have been using Youlean and it's fantastic. I also like Expose from MasteringTheMix.com. I think it is standalone only and not VST though. It has less features than YouLean but it has the ability to give you quick track comparison and gives some basic tips and guidelines about how loud your track should be based on the type of song.

That's a hell of a workflow killer ...jeez. I'd never get anything done if I had to swap DAWs to mix. What happens when a library want a few changes ? You have to go back to Logic, then export it all back out to Luna again ? You know there's probably a regular plugin that will run Logic that will sound just as good as Neve Summing without all the faffing around. SOS Mag are listing their 100 top plugins as rated by their review guys this month, there's quite a few tape /summing plugins listed.

Yea I've totally get what you're saying. I like the no-fuss no muss aspect of a simple rendering. But it's kind of an investment in time learning Luna, because if they ever get the front end of Luna right, then I'll just do the whole project in it.
