This is an area that I think I am sadly deficient in and may well be degrading daily. Unfortunately I don't think I can buy new hi fidelity ear drums nor is there a VI that will resolve the issue...

Good luck!

If you hear flat, then your bad ears have a chance to learn better. Other wise you are learning to compensate for a bad room and speaker.

That would be nice but this thing comes with a mic. You can't demo a product that comes with a mic and return it.

But if you think you need to hear perfectly flat, then you won't need to demo it. It WILL do the job.

It is really nice know I am hearing perfectly. It takes a load off my mind. I do not have this system at my home studio. I only have it at my studio. And because I hear so perfectly at my studio I am terrified to EQ anything at home. EQing when you are not hearing accurately is a big gamble. You may have easily have messed it up than fixed it.

But if you ever get this, be sure that you have at least two sets of monitors. One with it and one with out. Preferably the monitors with it would be a high end pair. The ones with out would be a low end book shelf pair like NS 10's or even computer speakers which is what I use. Between the two you will make mixes that translate with ease.
