best resolution to submit demo?

Hi gang...
First time here and I’m a real newbie, so here’s my very basic audio recording question:

I assume that when submitting music to TAXI MP3 is preferred vs. WAV.
I can record on my Zoom H2 which gives me options of (MP3) 64 kbps, 128kbps, 192kbps and 320kbps. On the wild off-chance that TAXI forwards it on to a client, what is the best recording type and resolution that I should have done it in, so they could actually use the demo sent instead of turning it down because it’s not a high enough resolution?

(If WAV, I can do):
16bit/44.1kHz, 24bit/44.1, 16bit/48, 24bit/48, 16bit/96 and 24bit/96.

I may be wrong but I believe standard CD's are done at 16/48 so that should be fine for any submission.

Screeners ears shouldn't be dialed in to listen for resolution.

If I'm not mistaken, TAXI's max resolution IF you are submitting electronically is MP3 @ 192Kbs - 44.1/16bit standard CD audio. If you are forwarded and the client wants to use your stuff but needs a higher quality sample, they will contact you and ask you for it. I think this issue can vary widely between clients and so you really need to know who you're working with first. Personally, I wouldn't even bother cranking out higher resolution tracks unless its an engineering goal for you, but once you've got it, spend your time writing.

I've found that 192k mp3's give the best sound for the size. I submit those through the Taxi submission process. Beyond that, you'll only really be asked by music libraries, publishers, film/television production companies, etc to submit in two other formats... WAV or AIFF in either 16/44.1 (CD quality) or 16/48 (DVD quality).
