VICTORIOUS, "BIG WINNER" ORCHESTRAL-BASED INSTRUMENTAL CUES are needed by a very successful Music Licensing Company that lands placements on hundreds of shows on Major Networks every year!
This Company is on the hunt for Instrumental Cues in the general stylistic ballpark of the following references:
The Wall (from 1:49 to 3:27)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sJFdbCCG6pY&t=167s
The Cube (from 7:56 to 8:34)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ldA08iNufxE&t=476s
American Ninja Warrior (from 6:08 to 6:21)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z-9UjQZNjFM&t=367s
American Ninja Warrior (from 3:59 to 4:24)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LmmUBnj4qik&t=238s
Please send well-produced Orchestral-Based Instrumental Cues that would work well in the context of Reality TV shows when a contestant has just won big! Craft your Cues around a singular motif, and layer instrumentation in and out as they progress to create a sense of forward momentum and dynamics. Please be sure that your production is polished and all virtual Orchestral instrumentation you use are high-quality, modern, and not stiff or obviously MIDI-driven. Some additional sound design or hybrid elements are okay to include in your submissions, but the focus should be on their Orchestral instrumentation.
NOTE: The placements generated from this Company will likely have good royalty payouts on the backend since they would be on Major Network Shows! Sounds great to us!
Your submissions should be about 90 seconds to 2 minutes long, give or take. Non-faded, buttoned/stinger endings will work best. Do NOT copy the referenced material in any way, shape, or form. Use it only as a general guide for tempo, tone, and overall vibe. Broadcast Quality is needed.
This Company offers an EXCLUSIVE deal, so the material you submit for this request CANNOT be signed with other publishers or catalogs. Sync fees will be split 50/50. The Publisher will get 100% of the Publisher’s share, and you’ll keep 100% of the Writer’s share. You must own or control your Master and Copyright to pitch for this opportunity. Please submit as many Instrumentals as you’d like, online or per CD. All submissions will be screened and critiqued by TAXI. Submissions must be received no later than 11:59 PM (PDT) on Thursday, August 19th, 2021. TAXI # S210819WN

Hi Michael & Shannon,
Do you guys listen to the references?
If this is the track you are going to submit then 1.The time is off. 2.You need to get better string sounds.3.You have to work on the mix...4....I will stop here until 1,2,3 are attended to.
Good luck.

Re: "BIG WINNER" ORCHESTRAL INSTRO CUE (S210819WN)
Thanks for the listen and the feedback, guys.
Not a joke
Will take a look at all your suggestions, Andre.
The VIs are BBC Symphony Orchestra violins and Pianoteq K2 bass/piano split, and there are also some RealTracks bass and drum from Band-In-a-Box. Would you not think all of those would be decent? Maybe we messed the strings up with FX? We put some EQ on the track, mostly cutting below 50Hz and a bit at 200Hz and boosting at around 9KHz. There's also some mild compression on the track. On the master buss there's also some mild compression, some reverb and a limiter.
Anyway, back to the drawing board, and thanks again!

I am afraid I have to agree with your track being miles and miles away from the epic, bombastic pieces used in the references (though I could only listen to the first 2).
I suppose "joke" was being referred to your track fitting more a comedic situation than "big winner"
Cannot really hear any piano/bass, nor drums, and the strings sound like you have set the same velocity for each note

No I genuinely thought it might be a wind up posted to see if anyone was really paying attention.
I'm honestly not sure what you are hearing then. To me it sounds like someone dropped a bag full of Dramedy Cues and reassembled the pieces wrong, There's no resemblance to the Ref Tracks here at all and it's all out of time as mentioned previously.
They are more like Trailer Cues than anything else, I would suggest spending a few weeks studying the free tutorials over at Alex Moukala's channel as a minimum but it will take a lot of work and a fair investment in the right sample lIbraries to get anywhere close especially from here.

Okay, we admit it, there was a rumor going around that Mark could no longer stand listening to our tracks, and we just needed to find out if it was true!cosmicdolphin wrote: ↑Mon Aug 09, 2021 12:22 pmNo I genuinely thought it might be a wind up posted to see if anyone was really paying attention.

(Thanks for sticking with us through thick and thin, Mark!)
We will just keep our eyes out for a listing for damaged dramedy cues. (They say there's a place for everything ...)
Seriously, we totally appreciate y'all taking the time and effort. Onward and upward!
