I'll second that.MacLaren wrote:One more thing. The pop filter that comes with the Blue Bird mic looks good but doesn't work well. I use a separate filter if I am singing loud.

Sure is solid compared to the AT2020!
Just wondering which settings any of you have found work best on vocals and acoustic guitar.
It has the three switches at the back: Flat Response, Bass Rolloff and Presence Boost. Anyone got a favourite combination of these?
And, have you had better results with or without the windscreens?
Something sounds wrong there.davekershaw wrote:Tried with the acoustic, but my Summit Audio 2BA-221 needed to be up at full gain, and there's much too much hiss.
Back to the AT2020 or MK-021A!
Hopefully, vox will prove better.
I've used an sm7 with a dozen pre's. It should not do what you describe.davekershaw wrote:Anyone else tried it with a 2BA-221 or Pro 40?
