BMI question
I was in a 50/50 deal with a publishing co. that ended this month. I did not renew the contract and was told they would notify BMI about this and their name would be removed from all my songs. Anyone know how long it generally takes for this process to happen?

Any composer/author can ask BMI directly to update their registered work. Supporting documentation is required for certain types of update requests. I would contact them directly since it is not in your previous publisher's best interest to update the records in a timely manner:
