Re: BRING ON THE DRAMA!!
Thanks Suz and Feak! Feak, I don't know. I feel like I'm making some strides (I guess). I'm a fan of consistency, so as long as the forwards are coming, then I'm assuming that I'm doin' somethin' right. I'm happy that they're happening a little more often than they were in the beginning. So I guess I must be growing into the whole "FEEL" of the situation. At least I hope I am! I've gone to great lengths to re-adjust my whole setup and my approach just so I could have some success at this. Adapting to critical situations is something that I tend to undergo at various times in my life. So I'm use to it. And this was fairly critical (to me) & doable, though at times it was quite frustrating. But I think I've picked up the feel a little, of how to handle this stage of the game (I know there's more to come) in terms of trying to understand what the listings want from us as composers. So that's what I've been trying to work on the most. Nailing those listings like my man Bflat was doin' so early on in his TAXI career! Little does he know, that he actually inspired me (along with some others) ta' get my act together after I saw how consistently he was hittin' the mark, time after time. I took a good look at myself, and said "Self, you're doin' somethin' wrong here!" So I just tried ta' step up my approach to things and tried not settle for mediocrity, which is REAL easy for me ta' do. So I guess it's payin' off a little. I'll try and stay the course.I-468
