Button Ending??

I like ernstinen's idea of doing a few options for endings... You could do a safe ending on the one, suitable for a scene that calls for resolve, then do a melancholy ending on a 6m7 that leads the viewer into something more "serious". And perhaps end on a quick hit, as well as a sustained note for a little more finality. Because hey, let's be honest, if it's just a matter of sliding a few notes in a piano roll view, or copying and pasting a guitar power chord from elsewhere the song - and you're giving the editor more choices - why NOT do it?
Even if you're increasing your odds by 5% of getting placed over the "other guy's" cue that he's A-B'ing, isn't it worth the extra 10 minutes? That is, if the cue is good enough to warrant the extra bit of spit shine in your mind! If it's trailer trash and you know it, maybe you're better off moving on to the next one!
