Cool it is...I signed up a while ago because Mojo Bone reverendly muttered that it was full of useful tricks and "a nice little earner" but I did nothing until Bryan prodded us. Now? I'm amazed at the number of plays coming in since I deployed some widgets a couple of days ago. I know charts are largely meaningless but it's still a nerdy kick tomove from 2985th to 62nd globally (classical chart), No 1 classical nationally (Australia) and to know that there will be another coupla dollars in PayPal at the end of the month...alms for the poor, alms for the poor...(rattles cup and chain)

Are you saying you make money from Reverb Nation somehow? How does that work? Anyway, I signed up and here's the link:http://www.reverbnation.com/richardemme ... demmet.com

Richard, reverbnation returns (or claims to) 50% of ad revenue to artists. Exactly how it works I don't know and haven't bothered because I know I'll not be a mega-earner, ever (wrong genres). To demonstrate, and don't tell the taxman...So far I've made $0.91, but with a bit of luck I'll make $20 this month, enough to get it paid into PayPal (remember, I'm the guy whose fortune mp3.com fled with to Argentina when they folded. Gee I really miss that $8.95). I totted up what I'm currently owed by the various sites my music languishes with, you know, $0.22 here, $1.86 there. Not a substitute for Taxi (or even CDBaby). Definitely not a substitute for live gigs and local sales of CDs.Still, think of any sort of on-web payment such as for plays on reverbnation as a sort of "encouragement award". And I regard the equivalent of a free meal a month as worthwhile, but then I'm cheap, I know...The widgets on reverbnation are great if you have good places to put them. I'll wait till next month to see whether it results in heightened CD sales...

Hi everyone. I am new to Taxi but have been lurking a bit here on the forums reading everything. I have also shamelessly added you all on Reverbnation from the links here and wow, such fantastic music from you all. I have had a great Sunday morning listening. Hi slimmie,I enjoyed the sound of your music. Tasteful chords and "feeling", a nice atmosphere. With a dance beat in there. Nice.http://www.Reverbnation.com/glenngalen
