Hello,Can anyone help me?I need to know what the best way is to copyright my material. I have a so many songs, but am too afraid to shop them around, at least until I know how to protect myself. Is there anyone out there who can shed light on my problem please?Greatly AppreciatedMZ

I am new here and don't know if you had replies that helped. Therefore, simply go to the Library of Congress site and download their copyright form. I, for instance, copyrighted four songs under one CD title. You must describe the songs and any contributers to the songs in detail. Send in $30 with the form and wait about 12 weeks to receive your copyright certificate. Again, you can copyright one CD with many songs and then recopyright a song on the CD if you sell it or make significant changes to it. The Library of Congress site is: http://www.copyright.gov and will give you any information you need.
