Can pro tools be used on the Ipad?

New to Facebook, I was wondering whether you can use the ipad to record with Pro Tools? I currently just have a PC and would like to be able to use Pro Tools without having to buy a whole new computer/ system?


Thanks in advance! I'm currently going to a private recording studio but would love to be able to tweak things at home.

ProTools - NO.

Garage Band - Yes.

to record on the ipad you need a class compliant USB interface and the camera connector to actually hook up the USB interface.
