Celtic music listing - I Wonder- if this would work

IRISH and CELTIC INSTRUMENTAL CUES are needed by a Brand New, Non-Exclusive Music Library recently started by the CEO of another successful company. This company has asked TAXI to find them hundreds (probably thousands) of Instrumentals, Cues, and Songs over the next few months. It’s very unlikely that you’ve got music in this new catalog, so this is a killer opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a new catalog that will probably get a ton of placements!

Although some of the references have vocals, this request is for Instrumentals only! Give them Instrumentals in All Tempos that are rhythmically and melodically engaging, with a distinct Irish/Celtic sound and style. They’re open to hearing anything from Traditional Irish music to Celtic Folk Instrumentals, to Contemporary versions of anything that sounds authentic and instantly transports the listener to the Irish countryside, villages, or even shopping areas featured in modern day travel shows. If you’re using samples or Virtual Instruments to create your Cues, please be careful to avoid anything that sounds obviously MIDI-driven. Over-dubbing a live instrument or two would be a nice touch! Adding authentic sounds for pitches like this can be the thing that makes your music stand out!

TAXI Tip: Adding and subtracting layers of instrumentation as your Cue progresses will keep it from sounding too repetitive or linear. Please avoid anything that’s so busy or frenetic that it could distract from a scene’s dialogue.

All submissions should be about 2:00 in length (give or take), with Non-Faded endings. Do NOT copy the references in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a general guide for tempo, tone, texture and overall vibe. Genre-appropriate Broadcast Quality is needed (great sounding home recordings are fine.)

This Company offers a NON-Exclusive, 50/50 deal. You’ll get 50% of any applicable sync fees and 100% of the Writer’s share. The Publisher will get 50% of any sync fees and 100% of the Publisher’s share. You must own or control your Master and Composition to submit to this pitch. Your piece sounds like it would work as Celtic without much change. I only heard one chord change around 1:36 that I thought might be unusual in a celtic tune. Sounds like they are not necessarily purists from the description, though. Maybe it's fine as-is.

Thanks for bringing that one to my attention- I used to play wooden flute in a celtic band. I will definitely submit something.

Hi Peter.
That's a nice gently rolling tune. I listened on my cans ( Beyer Dynamic DT150's) and the bass seemed just a teeny bit too loud to me - could be my ears/cans/brain whatever !

I saw Steve's comment on the bass and listening with that in mind I agree it could come down in level.

Tempo-wise it's slower than the alas and leans more to country/Americana for me so I would guess it's more of a long shot than odds on favourite.
