Children's Songs listing - #12

Hello,
I just had 3 children's songs returned on listing #S110414CH and the reviewer sited poor arrangement, sounds and production. These tracks were done with all live musicians including a professional drummer on high-end DW drums and all the piano/keys sounds were from the newest Native Instruments Kontact 7 library. I did a lot of research on children's songs and all of the productions I heard were mediocre at best for the 2-7 year audience. All of the Blues Clues, Barney and even Sesame Street music had cheesy production/arrangements.

The only kids music that didn't sound bad was the hipster children's music from artists like They Might Be Giants or Meredith Brooks. But those seemed to be more sophisticated as if they were written for the parents of toddlers than for the kids and that music was not used on any movie or TV references I could find.

Should I have been aiming for more Disney movie (lush orchestration) type productions for these children's songs? I would really appreciate some feedback on this since there was no reference artists, movies or TV shows on this listing for me to compare my work too.

Thanks for that. It isn't always easy trying to interpret what is required for a listing.

I'm finding that aspect of Taxi quite difficult at the moment.
