Re: CiscoKid
hey there....very cool.......some songs may need a little touch up....I'm not the most knowledgeable when it comes to listings, but I'm figuring it out.....this is my guess at some listings you could maybe submit to.... 'I was Raised' ....instrumental rock listing ?'J26'....solo guitar listing?...'Lamentations'...sad instrumental?....emotional?on 'Ghost Town'..... instrumental funk....the bass playing doesn't feel quite as relaxed, and it would good to review the tone(very picky 'bout bass, sorry).......'If I Were Rich'....I could see that in a library without the vocals....fer sure..also I can hear people talking over it....that's good to envision for library stuff.....so I'm learning from the forum...cool....glad to have time to listen to what you're doing...and curious as to where others think these tunes would be catagoried...good luckvicky

Re: CiscoKid
hey cisco, just listening to your tracks.I think that the performance on some tracks could be a little better ("I was raised", "j26"), they sound a little insecure (timing!) sometimes. it's not far away, just a little bit, but notable.overall I'd suggest to do tracks that come straigther to the point, and also are more uptempo (I assume you want to get the tracks in movies via music libraries - writing underscore music is quite another cup of tea). make some breaks in the music, the video editors I know love that because they can cut the video easely.production wise I think it could be better, particularly in the fully arranged tracks.my 2 cents.cheers, martin
