Coming Out!

Post by superjeezus » Mon Nov 10, 2008 1:24 pm

If nothing else, this year's rally helped me come out of my shell a little bit. So it's probably time to introduce myself on the forum. (Who knows what I'll do next?! I'm a little scared to find out...)Hi, my name is Andy, and I am a composer living in Oregon. I joined Taxi a few months back and have been submitting tracks for instrumental tv/film listings (mostly). So it was a great experience to talk to so many of you who have been doing the music library thing for a while. I came to the rally with some specific questions about that part of the business, and each question was answered so generously and thoroughly. The classes were great, but the interaction with all of you made it worth the time and money (and lack of sleep!).For each of you I met at the rally, it was a pleasure--without exception. I don't think I have been around a more friendly and generous group of people...well, ever. So whatever is in the kool-aid, gimme some of that.--Andy Warr.(bald sax player from Oregon)<editoops, probably should have put this under another topic. If someone with the authority to move it to the appropriate topic reads this, feel free. Thanks./edit>

imagine if John Williams and Trent Reznor met at Bernard Hermann's for lunch and Brian Eno was the head chef!
