I found this on ebay. The current bid is $999 and it's over tomorrow:
Sweetwater CS400v2 Creation Station 400 with an Intel Core i7-3770 Quad Core Processor - 3.4Ghz. It has 12 GB of RAM installed. The operating system is Windows 10 v1607. The OS drive is 500GB, the internal storage drive is 1TB. They are connected SATA 6.0. The Steinberg dongle is included (Cubase 8) and Steinberg CC121 DAW Controller
I'm a little wary about not having technical service, but should I not pass this up?

Re: Computer Purchase Advice
Technical service? Sweetwater.
The seller has 100% positive feedback. Everything is installed and presumably worked before the guy passed away? The thing about Cubase is that the license is on the dongle, takes away much of the hassle. You could download Cubase 8 on a 100 computers, and it will work on whichever one has the dongle installed on a usb port.
As sort of a comparison, I found this for $400, same chip, less ram, less everything, lol

But if you migrate, the license has to be transferred in your name. That's gonna happen sooner or later. And I'm not sure Sweetcare survives the original purchaser; you might wanna look into that.
