Re: computer rebooting problem
Vikki,I just spent an entire week trying to get rid of a very nasty virus (XP Antivirus 2008) off of my computer. My fault for not renewing virus protection. Got some now. Had to go out an purchase an external hard drive (500 GB) to back-up all work before somethin' really terrible happened. Managed that, reformatted hard drive, and now am slowly loading programs and things back up as needed. Man was it a fight dealin' with that virus though. Point being, make sure not only to backup your work, but make sure you have virus protection if computer is hooked up and being used on the internet. I plan on using my laptop instead of my music computer, to get online from this point on. That was truly a PITA!ibanez468

Re: computer rebooting problem
Hey VikkiI hope that does the trick. What can happen is when things like refrigerators cycle on and off in your building, there a sudden quick shift in voltage at your outlets. This could possible be affecting the power supply inside your computer. So, maybe having a battery back up/surge protector will do it.The other thing I've seen is a computer where the circuit cards don't seat well enough where they are plugged in and when the box gets warmer, a little expansion makes some connections weak. That ones a bit tougher to fix bit hopefully you already got it licked.Do frequent saves for whatever you are working on... Casey
