cool track. Yes those ref were repetitively. I noticed that. almost was going to submit something to that listing.

I think I would have kept that type of lead but did my own thing and tried not to be repetitive. That way if the track didnt get forwarded I could always submit it somewhere else.

So yeah I would have done something I could sell. Not too bothered about forwards. Just main thing to do is a track that can get as many placements as possible. It seems they like a lot of changes and sounds. I guess they want their money's worth.

Exactly. Which is why I kinda went the repetitive route with it. I changed things up every 8 but not drastically enough I guess... Thanks for the feedback man. I really appreciate it. Cheers!

Listened to your track and some of the examples. A good track. I would only add to the great comments by saying don't get stuck in any one example track when multiples are given (even though I often do that myself). I think the screener is looking at the bigger picture and making decisions based on that and we don't necessarily see it the same way as they do. Don't let the returns bother you. Learn from the returns and forwards. And it's great we have the boards here to learn from everyone else's experiences too.

Yea, I guess the only reason I got caught up on the one ref track was because the source was quoted saying they liked that track specifically. I'm not bothered by returns at all... it helps me realize what I need to work on, go back and fix and tweak... Was just a little confused with this particular one, since I was actually going for the repetitive nature of the ref's, and that's what it got returned for. But you guys here on the forum have definitely put it in better perspective for me. MUCH appreciated!! When I get back around to tweaking it, I'll come back and see what y'all think.
