Any and all feedback requested and welcome. Have time to make adjustments. Still newish at this recording/production thing.

COVER VERSIONS OF FAMOUS GLITTER ROCK SONGS with Male or Female Vocals are needed by a very busy Music Library. They’re open to hearing innovative Cover Songs in All Tempos and styles!

Please listen to the following references to hear what they mean by Glitter Rock. Don’t limit yourself to just these Songs – they're merely some suggestions to get you started:

"20th Century Boy" by T.Rex

"Rebel Rebel” by David Bowie

"Killer Queen" by Queen

"The Passenger” by Iggy Pop

"The Wild One" by Suzi Quatro

"Virginia Plain” by Roxy Music

“All The Young Dudes” by Mott The Hoople

"I'm Eighteen" by Alice Cooper

Please submit well-crafted Covers that give a contemporary, innovative, and creative take on Famous Glitter Rock Songs. Your productions/arrangements can range anywhere from well-performed, stripped-down Guitar/Vocal or Piano/Vocal versions to fuller productions with more instrumentation. Get creative! While clean guitars and percussion are obviously encouraged, please, no big, loud, distorted Rock productions!

TAXI Tip: Having a great, unique Vocal personality on your Covers will surely help you stand out from the rest of the pack for this request.

Bump

Making me beg folks - please provide feedback. Could really use the help to end my 100% return ratio. I've obviously got some serious issues that are not always apparent to me.

first of all, i think it's a cool way to interpret that song. i like the vibe a lot.
couple of things ... do the secondary vocals (the ones that are panned) have delay on them? or are they double-tracked and unquantized? reason i ask is, i was having trouble understanding them. i like the back and forth between them; i just couldn't hear them clearly.

the other thing is, i couldn't hear much bottom end. couldn't hear a kick at all (and i'm listening on a laptop with decent, mid-priced consumer headphones). the bass also felt like it could use a little more bottom. i could hear the distortion and love the grit of that. but it felt like something was absent sonically below that.

my $0.02.

Thanks you sooooo much for a second set of ears.

The secondary vocal tracks are doubled, with some delay, and unquantized. Never occurred to me to quantize vocals - I might try that to see if it cleans up some of clarity. I might also add a db of volume to help with clarity.

Regarding the kick and bass - will turn both up a notch. I can clearly hear them but I have a tendency to overshoot both the kick and bass so I probably overcorrected too much.

Again thanks.
