That's a beautiful song Dax, kinda Damien Rice vibe, really nice. My thought is that the meter of the lyric gets a bit repetitive and predictable but that's maybe your intent...enjoyed the listen! eo.

Hi Dax. Very pretty. Lovely melody. It would certainly work in a scene where there is unrequited love - and there's a lot of that on TV! Reminded me of very early Paul Simon - stuff like "April Come She Will". The violin parts work really well. Not sure I understand all the lyrics! That's probably a good thing. Cheers, Doug

Thanks Doug! Yeah, lyrics for me are still a personal, cathartic thing, definitely a weak point I need to improve on...making them more universal...

Yeah, I could hear this in a film. Especially after a breakup scene, due to the opening lyrics (allthough, the broken hand? doesn't quite work). It has that mood that draws you in, and could be very effective in the right slot, I think.
