Does this need more percussion?

What do you think?

"I really like this cue, but maybe you can think about adding some more percussion or pulses to keep it moving, which will help progress the scene."

I actually agree with this - I think I over-steered based on a previous return? - "The groove is a little active and distracting as well. These cues need to stay unobtrusive and supportive rather than getting attention. Sparse 'piano' works well, just too much action underneath it."

On reflection, the percussion that is there (ticks, kick) could probably come forward in the mix? And could probably start a bit earlier?

Same with this one Matthew, I would add some percussion and really focus on building the cue to a really strong tense climax.

Forwarded and returned on the same day, but in truth I've been worried about the percussion on this one. There is a kick pulse (possibly a bit too subtle for some monitors, and probably not building enough with the rest of the cue). I'm also conscious (as I said on the forward for this) that it's still a rough mix, so I only have myself to blame there.

I guess the question on this one is - should the percussion be more varied? I kind of like the relentlessness / inevitability of the kick. Should I change it up or layer more in around it?
