don't know where to start

heyI wondering if one of yall could help me.I am a good rnb singer but all i can do is write songs and sing.There is no way i can produce my song.I tried fruity loops and it was very difficult.There was so much stuff on the screen that i didn't know what I was looking at.And there is no way i can make a demo without beats.any help

well, you really only need to post your message once, 3 different threads started with the same info makes ya look pretty desperate... It really doesn't belong in the forwards section of this forum, hehe do you have any way to record your singing, and/or any songs available on-line?steve

hey bmoney - best thing to do is find local musicans into the same music as you and collaborate with them, or pay them to help you make a demo. If you can sing your ideas into a tape deck, or sing them at a good musician, they can help you make a lead sheet & a worktape for each song. Once you have a worktape (a rough vocal/instrumental - or even just a rough vocal), you can post it for feedback. At this point, I would advise against paying out any money for any demos. Start by getting some professional feedback on your songs. Also know what your goal is. If your goal is to sell yourself as an artist, then you need to be out there playing, and for that you need musicians. If your goal is to pitch songs to artists, then you need to get feedback on your work to make sure it is commercially viable. You also need to know the basics of the industry & how it works.
