Don't Want Ya

Post by kmontgomery » Wed Sep 09, 2009 12:22 pm

This is one of many of my songs. First one I have ever posted. Would love feedback. Just a demo of me and my piano. Not the whole song because it is to big to post.

I did at first. Check your pop up blocker. That is what was wrong with mine. Thanks for trying:)

Love your vocal range and soulfullness. Nice idea for a song, bit of truth there. Your piano fills don't work though. Find an accompanist and let your vocals do the work.

I liked the idea and like your voice. I would like to hear a full work up of the song.

Nice song and good structure. Like the hook "I don't want ya, don't want to have you..." Not sure the next line really works for me. Seem a bit awkward rhythmically and a little too predictable Would like to see a little more clever development. Mabe make use of the word "have" again in the sense of not wanting another woman to have him in the next line. Just my 2 cents. I like the rest of what you have done. Just think it needs a little work here.Best wishes,Dave
