Downloadable Indie Rock Style Drum Loops and Samples

Post by ohtravioso » Mon May 23, 2011 11:07 pm

Hi all,

I just launched http://www.drummerheads.com where I sell drum loops and samples recorded by Jason McGerr, the drummer for Death Cab For Cutie. If you want good live indie rock style loops and samples, that's all my downloadable pack is about. You can try it out for free. There's a small demo download that has some drum loops and samples in it. The full Pro version is $35 and has about 475 close mic'd loops and 475 ambient room mic'd loops that can be blended perfectly. So if you want a roomier sound, you can get it.There's also over 2000 one shot drum hits with different velocities and mics.

Check out the demo mp3 on the page. Those are tracks that I made using the drum loops that I've submitted to various Taxi listings. The first track was accepted into the cool big music library. The owner of said Library has spoken at a few Taxi Road Rallys I believe, so you might be familiar with the library or have something in there yourself :-)

I look forward to hearing what you fellow Taxi members make with it. I'm also going to start posting videos about what I've done right, and what I've done wrong with my Taxi submissions in my quest to get my music in a national ad spot. Should be pretty informative.

Thanks,

Hayden

I'd be interested in that.

Hi Hayden,

I've been playing around with the demo files. I like the loose feel they have. :)

I'm considering purchasing your Full Pro Version but I'd like to know:

How do your loops relate to the ones in Propellerhead’s Jason McGerr Sessions?

Hi Hayden.
I checked out the demos then bought the pro version. The drums have a wonderful feel and the ability to mix the close and ambient loops to fit the song is great. I used them on a recent composition called "Like Clockwork". It's on my Taxu Page if you want to listen. The groove is all drummerheads. I just added another kick in sync to beef up the bottom end.
Cheers,
Doug
