dramedy cue - S220130KY - rate my audio

I have posted my first attempt at a dramedy cue for this listing, any suggestions or feedback welcome, I've not submitted it yet:

The ending feels a bit up in the air. I would make it sound more like an ending.

Also guessing that, like mine, it doesn't develop enough of a groove, compared to the refs.

Also, I would check the LUFS and aim for at least -14. (We have had submissions rejected for this.)

Also, another etiquette thing, people appreciate it if you copy the listing into your post, including live links to the refs. Makes it easier to compare your piece to the refs.

There seems to be no unifying harmonic structure underpinning the track...therefor it sounds like a jumbled random assortment of samples

I agree with the feedback but all is not lost when you take a stab at something. If you want to make dramedy cues, google "Dramedy Cues" and listen to samples. See how they are constructed. You may not get the right sounds at first (or ever depending on your gear) but if you get it to the point where the construction is close, you may be able to connect with a co-writer to help bring it across the finish line.

I re-labled the old one (demo) and uploaded the one which I just submitted for the listing... and I don't expect anyone else to listen again but it's there on my page.

This one felt passable to me but who knows!
