Dumass question(s)

Post by nutotech » Sat Jan 05, 2013 10:45 pm

Having been on the "buying" end of music for a toy company, the publisher always sent the sync license with terms. (i.e. how many units manufactured, term of use, price paid per piece, etc.) Do you guys send contracts to music supervisors? Or is there a pro forma license they provide? Is that followed by an invoice?

And once signed contract is in hand, do you have to hassle the Music Super for cue sheets? Or does the sync license serve as proof with the PRO?

HNY and thanks!
