Just wanted to thank everybody on this thread for pointing me toward these. Had 'em for a couple of weeks now, and man, is it a night-and-day difference! Of course, I was previously mixing on a set of Labtec computer speakers I picked up for $7 about ten years ago.... We all gotta start somewhere, I guess. ;)

Yes - Thanks from me too! :D I've been using them for a few weeks now and I have to say I'm really happy. Everything is crystal clear with excellent response across the spectrum. Over time I have noticed they respond even better. I have especially noticed an improvement in the bass response which was already excellent out of the box. I could not be happier with the performance for the price I paid. I went with the $330 package that included cables, carrying case and the foam isolation pads. Not that I really needed the extras or plan on carrying them around but I figured the case alone was worth the extra $30.
