Extreme Harmonica!

Post by jeffgreenleaf » Mon Jan 05, 2009 7:04 pm

Yeah my harp song was forwarded to the Extreme Sports Listing! The screener's comment was short, but sweet: "Nasty Groove!" Now I just need to record more of these heavy hitters...Halfway Househttp://soundclick.com/share?songid=6886284Y081224TVHIGH ENERGY INSTRUMENTALS FOR EXTREME SPORTS PROGRAMS are needed by an established Production Music Library/Publisher with tons of TAXI signings over the years. Fast paced, exciting, adrenaline-pumping music in styles ranging from Pop/Punk, Hard Rock, Alt Rock, Electro-Rock, Psychobilly, Guitar/Heavy Synth-featured D&B, Industrial Rock, etc. will be considered. No lyrics/vocals for this one, please! Only uptempo tracks will be considered here. Instrumentals that range from :60 to 3 minutes are what's needed, but be prepared to provide shorter edits should the company get in touch with you. Excellent performances that fit the requested mood and broadcast quality recordings are necessary. Please submit one to three instrumentals online or per CD. All submissions will be screened on a YES/NO BASIS - NO CRITIQUES FROM TAXI - and must be received no later than December 24, 2008. TAXI #Y081224TVAnother quick turnaround for the screeners! Cool!

Great job Jeff! I'm digging these quick turnarounds too - Big Blue
Imagine a steel cage match between Daughtry, Coldplay, Paramore and Demon Hunter with Joe Satriani as the referee...

Thanks Geoff! I use a "Shaker" Harmonica Microphone. It's technique sensitive, which means that your technique can affect the way the mic sounds. You can really alter its tone, giving you control over the harp & the mic as well...so I use that with some distorto delay fx and it sounds killer.
