faith-based Gospel funsongs
For those who relate to:
being grateful for having been given multiple 2nd chances;
feeling awe about the wonder of all created and creative things;
recognizing the majesty in the tiniest of details,
and the immeasurable grandness of the infinite;
and: the hope and wonder of what is coming very soon.
This is the newest of such subject matter, among others posted there:
(I wish it was rendered in a vocal performance as honest as songs by Graham/LRC).
Cheers.

I'm obviously not an "A&R" man, but I liked it.funsongs wrote:For those who relate to:

Re: faith-based Gospel funsongs
Thanks, Ken...you go by that name?
Also wished I coulda made it out to Raleigh, N.C. for the Bluegrass convention. I don't play that style, but really enjoy hanging around...listening and jamming with the friendly folks that do.
Probably goes without saying, but there's a lot of room for Gospel-friendly lyrics in Bluegrass.
Welcome to the forum...a bit of a Newbie here, myself...a few months now; and not-yet a member.
Cheers.
Peter Rahill (using "fun" as my moniker here, cause there are several others named Peter).

Re: faith-based Gospel funsongs
I usually go by Kenny but Ken is good too.
I'm just getting serious about music after years of trying things more "practical." There are plenty of late bloomers in the history of the world so hopefully I can join their ranks.
I have a few lyrics that are Gospel-based. My goal is to be able to write any kind of music but I am learning to actually play bluegrass because it's my favorite. Always one to put the cart before the horse, I use the name "Plane Ignerints" (intentional misspelling of plain ignorance) as my band's name.
I hope things are well in So Cal.

Once I get a band together, it will be a bluegrass band. I'm still learning guitar so I am a neophyte in every respect of this business.funsongs wrote:Hey Kenny;
