My favorite would have to be the guitar duel at the and of "Crossroads" with Steve Vai!!!!!!!!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6CAJtu2nHLw(and of course the entire Wall movie by Pink Floyd!)AND I was recently impressed with the movie "August Rush." Very moving picture. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sN0c_egqXAM

Quote:The Full Montyhttp://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=_AUIVx-KQt4&feature=relatedOh yeah, "You can leave your hat on!" Good one!Another favourite is the flight over Africa scene from "Out Of Africa".The build up to the main theme, when the flamingos take flight, is absolutely beautiful!Exquisite music by John Barry, with stunning scenery to match!http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=JHjwq3e7lHwOne of those magic movie moments!

I'm stuck with John Williams, His themes really nail themselves into my head! He has composed, well almost everything. Spielberg and Lucas and so on.

I'll give ya that orest! What an extremely talented composer. Hell, name a blockbuster where his music didn't help make the movie. He writes themes that are memorable for sure.I'm a fan of Williams, but also Danny Elfman. I like Elfman's playful way of writing in minor keys.

Most people remember him from Brian DePalma's "Body Double".I'm also rather fond of "The Alice's Restaurant Massacree".And how 'bout that other John Barry masterpiece, The famous "Bond Theme"?Oh, and the Kenny Rogers/First Edition sequence in "The Big Lebowski".
