I liked "Love is the New Black" better than "How You See The World", though both were nicely done. On "Love is . .", I thought the intro started too slow for what came later . . . I would shorten the 16 second intro . . . the tempo and vibe picked up noticeably at :42, and that's where the song got interesting. Maybe you were trying for a tempo contrast, but I'm not sure it works (at least for me).
Also, did you consider "Far From Me" as a title for the second tune? As often as it's repeated, it might work better.

Hi there, nice tunes! I dig the vibe of both of them. I thought there were some pitch issues with the vocal on the first tune, love the drum sound on the second one! I'm in a band called This Old Earthquake, almost the opposite of your name...eo.

Hi Guys,
Really like the feeling and emotion conveyed.
I think the vocal is good but there are a few pitch issues here and there. All in all with a bit of tweaking and mixing could hear this on the radio.
