BTW, if you're at all thinking about using ProTools... Sibelius is owned by Digi now (or Avid) and ProTools currently has a direct export of MIDI function in the PT software. And in PT8, the new notation window is based on Sibelius, and I assume will directly export to Sib even cleaner.

I happened to glance in to the Digidesign booth at the AES show and they were demo'ing the notation function of ProTools and it looked really nice. Kind of like the notation functions I've been using in Digital Performer for over a decade.

imagine if John Williams and Trent Reznor met at Bernard Hermann's for lunch and Brian Eno was the head chef!

Re: Finale or Sibelius?
Yeah, exactly Mazz... I'm doing all the notation I do in Logic now. But, it's pretty clunky to work with. I'm not expecting much from the PT notation either, but were I to get some crazy scoring gig or something, knowing I could jump easily to Sibelius from PT could be a cool function.
