Finally Eeeked One Out

Post by ibanez468 » Mon Mar 31, 2008 5:25 pm

Hey gals/guys,After a few disappointing returns, finally managed to eek out a forward. Jeez! Some of you may have already heard this. Check it out.HIGH DRAMA / "WHEN CRISIS STRIKES" INSTRUMENTALS (in :30, :60 and 1:30 segments)wanted by a New York Music Library/Publisher who has signed and placed dozens of TAXI songs. He is searching for high caliber compositions/recordings. He wants tracks that constantly keep your attention with hits and sonic surprises. Musically, the style can range from orchestral to high tech. Hybrid tracks are preferred (that is, tech-orchestral). Sampled instruments in terms of the lead instrument should be avoided, but if used must be of the highest quality, convincingly real and not distracting. He offers exclusive deals with a reversion clause [typically 2-5 years] for instrumental tracks.A Decisive MomentI-468

Thanks Everyone!!Let me take this time to thank several people for their advice & guidance. Thanks to the grand Wizard of course (Mazz) for his great arranging suggestions, also Matto for his always insightful advice, and deantaylor for gettin' on me about my sonic effects. Also for Elser & Brad (aimusic) for their suggestions as well. All of you guys had everything ta' do with helpin' me get this together, so it's only fair that I give the credit where it's due. Thanks for all your help fellas, couldn't have done it without ya'!I-468PS -- Gotta' give thanks to Jimi Hendrix too. I borrowed a bit of his innovativeness, by making my guitar sound like it was calling for HEEEELLLPP! If anybody recalls "Machine Gun" from the Band of Gypsys album, that's where that idea came from!

Hi IbanezCongrats on the forward. Nice Track! I think you especially nailed the listing by fulfilling the "hybrid" request. I got a forward on this one as well but my arrangement was more "traditional". Good luck. I think you have a good chance with this one.By the way, I thought of you the other day. I was strolling through a local music store and saw what was absolutely the most gorgeous guitar I have ever seen in my life. Really nice inlayed fret markers and this wild, weird, flamed, white exotic face with natural wood trim...just beautiful. You can guess the make, of course!Mewman
