Finding old Serial Numbers????

Post by boardman » Wed Mar 05, 2008 3:37 am

Hey everyone. I have a little dilemma. I'm trying to install Reason on my new computer and I must have thrown out the original box with the serial number on it because I can't find it anywhere. Is there anyway to find the number anywhere on my old computer where Reason is still installed and running? If not, is there anyway to install the program with out using the serial number like just copying files over???Thanks for reading-Brett

Can you get that on your old computer this way? If not, can you simply contact the manufacturer and ask them how to locate the serial number?HTH Casey

Casey is correct, open Reason in your old computer. In the 'Help' menu select 'About Reason...'You'll get a pop up window that has who it was registered to and your serial number.BTW-I'm using Reason 3

If your software was registered, your info should be on Propellerheads website.

I love it, its a whole new world of sounds to spark the creative engine and at the same time a tool to lay down fundamental building blocks for songs that I would otherwise not have access too, Piano, B3, etc.Dig in, have some fun with it, its a very cool program.
