Yes, it does thank you very much.
This whole topic is like a little book!

I also remember between maybe X-mas and new year I sat down just playing the guitar pondering edit points and "something" sent me off in a good direction.
You can create as you say "musical stops" in real time by just muting your instrument e.g after you have played the second back beat in a bar and there will be a natural hole.
Small eureka moment!
If it's a conscious decision it sounds like a part of the song, not artificial or contrived, which I guess is what you said hehe?
Nobody who isn't in this edit point business is even aware of such a thing so they won't notice.
And if you think you have to EDIT something that's supposed to be inaudible around this "point" it's probably to not use the master fader hehe!

I still think the concept is new to my way doing things but I think I'm at least getting better at it ... :?
