First Contract in the Works!

Post by ResonantTone » Fri Apr 12, 2019 9:06 pm

Hey all!

Super excited to share that I got my first offer on a song through taxi today!! I was in the middle of doing sound for a local high school's musical and I about fell out of my chair when I saw the email. The coolest part is that it was from a song I got a lot of help on here in the forums. Here's the link the thread: non-busy-melodic-contemporary-pop-d-t142617.html

And here is the finished track: https://soundcloud.com/resonanttonemusic/cornered

I ended up changing the whole song to a minor feel instead of major after listening to all the great feedback I got.

Thank you to every single one of you that has helped and encouraged me thus far! Hopefully I can continue to do the same for you!! :D

Andrew

See what did I tell ya - it was only a matter of time.

Love this post - trust the process, it works. Forums + Taxi TV + Road Rally.

Congrats Andrew! Here's hoping it is the first of many deals for you. I really like the cue and I can see that it could be used for many spots. Very nice :) Keep it up!
