First deal offer!!!!

I am having a hard time controlling my excitement! After years of submissions and a bunch of forwards, I finally have been contacted by a music library that's interested in one of my recordings. Man, does this feel good! I don't have a deal yet, and I hope this doesn't jinks me, but the contact person wrote that they wish to represent me and have asked that I send them more stuff. I am friggin psyched! Wish me luck! Mewman

Congrats on the deal(s).It sound like the beginning of a good relationship.When you receive the contracts, jump back on the boards if they seem written in Greek. When this has happened in the past, a lot of folks jump on to clarify issues etc.I have posted before about forwards being favorable introductions ( not unlike meeting this library owner at a party and him inviting you to send in tracks). Now it's time to turn the intro into a mutually beneficial long term relationship. (this is what Matt Hirt has done so well over a decade or so)Great news!!Chuck
