Re: First draft--comments?
hey Warren... I don't know why but for some reason the Chorus parts reminds me of D Bowie... which to me is cool =)I think adding some minimal piano parts would work really well with this track... IMHO.-Kel

Re: First draft--comments?
thanks cam, "refinement" is a very nice way to put it....i was singing this in the yard all afternoon, my back is killing me, and i now officially HATE the damned tune.hey kel, thanks for the listen--aint the first time that bowie has come up in a critique of one of my tunes, and i'll be damned if yeah, i like the "young americans" era tunes, but he isn't like in my top 10 favs or anything,...but if there's anybody who could screw up a folk type tune, with a bowie vibe, might be me! LOL...honestly, i think that chorus will be much better defined when i get back to it someday.many thianks guys for the listen, greatly appreciated cam, i do HAVE to stop f-ing with the boss drum patterns, as they are crappy, and so are my choices/arrangements of them......wh

Warren, you've got a good song here. Or at least the start of one. Please stop looking at my life and singing about it. Doesn't a guy deserve a bit of privacy for crimeny's sake.Good job,Wig

Re: First draft--comments?
hi wigs!now THAT is very funny--i HOPE! many thanks for the listen. funny thing, i had one of my paid producers comment on this tune today and all they could do with it, as she's the manager of a studio in LA, and a singer songwriter in the folk genre herself, and she said she'd change 2 words, and i told her which ones...and we were both right--'cept i 'splained those were the two i struggled with, until i realized they were JUST what i really wanted, ...then came the pitch to produce it, but i have a much more sparse early Neil Young production in mind for this "someday." have too much going on now and too little money...it's all cool, the best to you, life is good, and so are YOU!warrenoh, the words. . . . PEACHY and BUD...hell, talkin' 'bout taking all the fun outta the tune? LOL
